The East Dorset Centre was formed in 1984.

2010 is the 21st Anniversary of the Wessex Rally. This is a bi-annual event held during the August Bank Holiday, where the ten centres of the South West Region meet to compete with each other in various events: from; sports to cookery, handicrafts, photography etc. thereby gaining points for their respective Centre for the ultimate prize, the coveted "Wessex Cup"

There is evening entertainment: including the Miss Wessex Competition, Centres Entertain and a live band on Sunday evening.

East Dorset has a great deal to offer both residents and visitors alike, with beautiful scenery, safe beaches and many other attractions along its famous Jurassic coast.

Rallying gives you a chance to spend a weekend relaxing, meeting up with your friends and making new ones.

You have the opportunity to attend a weekend, bank holiday or a longer holiday rally at various locations enjoying the company of like minded people.
