Welcome to the East Dorset Centre Website, for those not familiar with our centre I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself my name is Adrian Burton and my wife’s name is Gill, last October at our AGM, I was re-elected to serve for a further year, both Gill and I continue to work and enjoy Rallying with the Centre. It only seems like yesterday that I was writing my first message and now it’s my last as this is my  final year as Chairman.

This year our centre will see the re-introduction of the centre’s Birthday Rally, this event that has been missing from our programme for far to long. To mark this celebration we are holding a rally at Bashley Park, New Milton, over the weekend of 18th - 20th March  on the Saturday evening we are proud to present our Birthday Dinner Dance, with Cabarét and dancing to live music, so make this a date. Another event I would like to mention is the Ladies Rally 24th - 26th June. A great fun weekend for all the family, this weekend is devoted to raising funds for our youngsters and teenagers activities mainly the Children’s Xmas Party, this year also see’s the re-introduction of the teenagers treat, during the afternoon we are holding a fete followed by an evening Cabarét full of home grown entertainment.

You can see from our Rally Details page that we have a wide and varied programme that covers the whole 12 months, I’m sure you will find something of interest to you perhaps a Holiday Rally, a Quiet Weekend retreat, Dinner Dance or a Children’s Christmas party just to name a few. Some of these Rallies take place on Commercial Sites at considerable better prices than being independent.

Many of our rallies are very popular and fill up quickly, so you need to book and plan ahead, this also helps the Rally Officer, running the event for your enjoyment. Dorset is a beautiful part of the country and very popular with visitors from other centre’s, so whether you are a centre member, a visitor or a first time rallier with us you will always be sure of a warm welcome.
