Welcome to this special 2Ist Rally of Wessex where we would like you to come and celebrate our 21st Birthday with us.
For those of you who don’t know the “Wessex” is a biannual event at which ten centres meet up to compete with each other in all sorts of events. There is sport, cookery, handicrafts, flower arranging and photography to name but a few but most of all we meet to have fun!
Each centre, Avon, Devon & Cornwall, East Dorset, West Dorset, Gloucestershire, East Hampshire, West Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Somerset and Wiltshire are trying to gain points to win the ultimate prize “The Wessex Cup”.
During the weekend there is entertainment including the “Miss Wessex” contest (of which we are the proud holders), Centres Entertain an evening for all the family of mini shows put on by each centre. Can you imagine Phantom of the Opera performed in eight minutes, well we did it!
On Sunday night we have a fabulous live band “Vivo” why not dig out your hippy shirts and flares, put some flowers in your hair and join us for a sixties inspired night of grooving on the dance floor.
You don’t have to be sporty just come along and cheer your centre on. There is always a brilliant atmosphere throughout and we are sure you won’t be disappointed with this busy weekend. Lets bring the Wessex Cup back to East Dorset.

Route - Leave the Frome bypass (A361) at the roundabout signed Maiden Bradley, onto B3092. The site is on the right in 1.5 miles. Please follow the Wessex Rally signs at this junction.
