28 - 31 May 2010
RALLY FULL - WAITING LIST APPLIES
Brassknocker Basin, Limpley Stoke, nr Bath
Subject -
May Bank Holiday
This Rally took us by surprise last year and for all the right reasons, so we have been able to come back here again this year. There really is so much to do at this venue, you can cycle along the Waterside to the Roman City of Bath which takes about ½ an hour, or you can go in the other direction and cycle in to Bradford-On-Avon, which has a Tithe Barn and it’s own small Shambles or you can take a stroll and explore the local hostelries.
The Canal boats will be making trips down the Canal and it will transport you over Dundas Aqueduct, the Basin has cycle hire facilities or you could just sit outside The Angel Café and have light refreshments for a relaxing afternoon or you could join the Rally Officers in waving to as many train drivers as you can.
Your Rally Officers will probably be making “Special” refreshments over the weekend.
This is a limited Rally of 50, so early booking is essential. (Would all attendees please ensure that they arrive with an empty WC cassette).
Rally Commences: 11.00 a.m.
Route - From Salisbury take A36 towards Bath for approx. 20 miles. At Limpley Stoke turn right immediately before bridge, site on left through car park.
Rally Officer - Jane and Jo
