"Discover Normandy and the Emerald Coast" in conjunction with Alan Rogers
We would like to share with you the following reply we have received from Alan Rogers the travel subsidiary of the CAMC.
We have had interest shown from the members of the Centre regarding attending this rally and quite understandable concern with the ongoing Covid-19 virus and the travel restrictions connected with it.
Below I have shared the reply from Alan Rogers which I hope can explain the procedure should the rally have to be cancelled due to Covid-19.
We now have the cost for each campsite, you do not have to attend both rallies but you must book for the full 7 nights on each rally, these prices are for the pitch fees only.
Ferry costs are extra and these will be advised by Alan Rogers in the very near future.
Dates: 11 July 2021 (7 nights)
Based at: Camping Le Chatelet
Pitch only prices based on 2 people sharing a Pitch with electricity. Includes all local taxes
Pitch only price: £313.00 per unit
The package prices include the following:
-
Campsite fees
-
Local tax
Bookings are now being taken by Alan Rogers and this will include the ferry crossings.

Statement from Alan Rogers
We understand it has been a very unusual year with unprecedented circumstances and challenges for everyone and you may have concerns and questions about booking a holiday rally for 2021. We want to reassure you that booking a rally package holiday with us is the most secure option for you to book your rally for 2021. This year we have fully refunded all rally package bookings that were unable to travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
· In the event of travel restrictions being imposed by the UK government or the government where your overseas rally is taking place, that will significantly impact the rally, then we would review the viability of the rally based on the information available at the time the travel restrictions are enforced. If the travel restrictions meant that your rally package holiday would be unable to proceed when the departure date is imminent, then we would cancel the rally and a full refund would be issued to you.
· Please note that this applies to package bookings only. If you choose to only book a campsite with us and not the ferry, then we would be acting as the agent and in the event of cancellation any refund would be based on the campsites refund policy. We would pass on, in full, any refund from the campsite.
· In 2020 we have fully refunded all rally package holiday bookings which couldn’t go ahead due to Covid-19 and no credit notes were issued.
· If you choose to cancel your rally booking then our normal cancellation terms would apply. These can be found in our standard terms and conditions here http://alanrogersrallies.com/about/terms-conditions/
We are fully bonded members of ABTA which means your money paid to us for a rally package holiday is protected. You can find out more here http://alanrogersrallies.com/about/abta-membership/
Secondly, we can offer your members a ‘flexible deposit policy’ which allows the member to commit to a rally with less risk of losing the full deposit if they change their mind up to 6 months before they travel. Instead of asking for a deposit of £150, we have halved this to £75 with the balance payable 6 months before the rally starts, so in your case we would ask for the balance of the deposit by 4 January 2021. If the member cancels before the 4 January then they lose the deposit of £75 (not £150). After the full balance is paid then the usual terms and conditions apply.
