This is our first visit to this Camping & Caravan Club site just North of Salisbury which boasts views of Old Sarum, a mighty Iron Age hill fort including the remains of a prehistoric fortress, a Norman palace, a castle and a cathedral.

This sloping, spacious site boasts excellent and extensive on-site facilities and is divided into two fields by hedging. All our pitches are hard-standing with EHU.

​

Salisbury is a short riverside walk away, justly famous for its beautiful city cathedral and home to the iconic Magna Carta. It is a bustling market town and boasts attractive timbered buildings, museums, extensive shopping areas and some of the most elegant houses in the country.

​

At this time of year the famous German Market will be in full swing and there will be lots of Christmas goodies available throughout the town.

Route:  From Ringwood in the South go North on the A338. Continue past Fordingbridge and Downton. At the T junction on the outskirts of Salisbury turn right towards the City Centre.  Follow the A338 Ring Road around Salisbury.  Continue on the A36 Ring Road towards Warminster. Turn onto the A345 towards Old Sarum. Then after about 1 mile turn left into Hudson's Field Camping and Caravan club site and follow EDCC signs.
