Back by Popular Demand Half Term 2023 Holiday Resort Unity @ Brean Sands

It was back in 1948 when Bert House, a Somerset dairy farmer, set up the first park here. It was summer time and he was approached by a scout group who wanted to camp on the farm. You guessed it. Bert said yes – and Holiday Resort Unity was born.

Today the four star resort incorporates the facilities of Holiday Resort Unity, Brean Leisure Park and Golden Sands Holiday Park. They have continued to develop the facilities of the resort with Brean Play Indoor Softplay centre, Brean Splash Waterpark and Brean Golf Club. Oh, and did we mention that we’re just 200m from the beach!

 

Whether it’s the outdoor play area for the little ones, bingo for Nan, the waterpark for the kids, or the fishing lake for Dad, there’s something on the resort for everyone. They’ve also packed a mouth-watering range of restaurants and takeaways on to the resort – ideal when you don’t want the hassle of cooking. And if you run out of any of the basics, there’s a well-stocked Costcutter supermarket within easy walking distance.

 

If you are bringing your motor home, the Coast bus stops right outside the entrance taking you directly into Weston and Burnham, where you can connect with buses to Cheddar, Wells, Taunton and Bristol.

 

Holiday Resort Unity has spacious grass and hard standing pitches with electric hook up for touring caravans and motor homes.

 

Each field has resident wardens, its own laundry and washing up areas and modern brick-built facilities, including toilets, showers and even baths, all with the added luxury of heated floors! There are also facilities for the disabled. We also have Resort security & controlled vehicle access

 

Holiday Resort Unity welcomes your dogs in both the touring and camping fields. They also have their own designated dog walk on the resort and the nearby beach is dog friendly all year round!

Route:  Brean Sands is only 5 minutes from junction 22 off the M5, on the Coast road. Take the B3140 towards Burnham-on-Sea and keep right on the coast road. Site on the right in about 3 miles.
