A new site and a different area for West Dorset to visit. Kingfisher Caravan Park is a full facilities site located a few 100 metres from the coast at Lee-on-Solent near Gosport.

As the site is situated on the coast it is ideal for cycling.

There is a bus stop located within 150 metres of the sites entrance, Gosport has a number of Royal Naval Museums to visit, or you could hop on the foot ferry and go into Portsmouth and visit Gunwharf Quays for some retail therapy.

On the Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant will be open for breakfast running 9.30am-11.00am and opens at 6.00pm on Saturday evening with entertainment in the evening which will be a DJ or live Band.

Sunday lunchtime roasts are available 12.00pm-2.00pm. The bar will be also open on Sunday evenings with some form of entertainment

On the Monday evening the restaurant will also be open.

Directions: Kingsdown Caravan park, Browndown Road, Gosport.PO13 9BE

From the west on the M27 exit at junction 9 and follow signs for Stubbington and Lee On The Solent along the A27, turning right at The Titchfield Gyratory onto the B3334, continue ahead along the Stubbington bypass, until the roundabout where you turn left onto Gosport road, B3334 to Peel common roundabout where you turn right 3rd exit, Broom way, B3385. At the lights turn left onto

Cherque Way. Follow this road until you reach the next lights and turn left onto Privett Road, take the next right and Kingfisher Campsite in first on the left. Keep a look out for WD signs.

From the East on the M27 exit at Junction 11 and take first exit of the roundabout onto the A27, Follow signs for Gosport and Lee On The Solent, at the roundabout take first exit onto Gosport road A32. After the roundabout take lane two and continue on this road, Newgate Lane, past Asda and HMS Collingwood all the way to Peel common roundabout where you turn right 2nd exit, Broom way, B3385. At the lights turn left onto Cherque Way. Follow this road until you reach the next lights and turn left onto Privett Road, take the next right and Kingfisher Campsite in first on the left. Keep a look out for WD signs.
