This is a new site for the East Dorset Centre which is located   just outside Fordingbridge.  

 

New Forest Edge Rally Field is a flat camping and caravanning field at the far end of the smallholding which holds about 20 generous pitches. There is a large open area in the middle. There are no toilet/shower facilities available on this site so you would need your own Cold water taps, sewage and waste water disposal sites are provided. It is a no smoking site and depending on weather conditions, they may not allow open fires/charcoal BBQ’s. 

 

All the facilities of the town are in reach on foot. a network of footpaths start across the road and the New Forest is half a mile away. There is a good selection of restaurants, pubs serving food, and takeaways in and around Fordingbridge to suit all tastes and budgets. Many of the restaurants also do take-away menus. Most pubs are dog friendly but not in the restaurant areas.

Route: Depending on whether you are approaching Ringwood from the West or East on the A31 will depend on which way you turn off the A31 onto the Salisbury Road 

Travelling from the West 

At Palmersford Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Ringwood Rd/A31 

Use the left lane to take the A338/B3347 slip road to Salisbury/Fordingbridge/Ringwood 

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Salisbury Rd/A338 (5.3 miles) 

 

*Take Ringwood Rd to Stuckton Rd 2 min (0.6 mi) 

Slight left towards Ringwood Rd (signs for Fordingbridge/Alderholt/Sandleheath/Godshill/B3078) 308 ft
