Steam Festival

Welcome to the Burley Steam Festival here at Burley. There are no hard standings and levelling blocks may be required. Water and Elsan points are provided. There is no EHU available so you must be self sufficient and no rubbish disposal. There are public toilets in the village.

Burley village is a short walk through open private parkland. There are shops, PO, tea rooms, cycle hire, forest walks and pubs serving food. The walk back is slightly up hill! The site is a fenced area but we may be visited by small shy New Forest Roe deer who squeeze through the fence. There are large Red deer in the fully fenced private part of the park which is NOT open to us. Please keep your dogs on a lead at all times.

There are lots of places of interest to visit & things to do in the local area.

Burley Wagon Rides - .2 mile

 

New Forest Cycling - .2 mile

 

Burley Golf Club. - .6 mile

 

Bagnum Riding Stables - 2.3 miles

 

Mcpenny Woodland Garden Nursery - 2.9 miles

 

Liberty Owl and Reptile Centre - 2.9 miles

 

There are also Restaurants,Tea Rooms and Pubs within a short walk/drive.

 

Rally commences @ 12 noon. NO ARRIVALS BEFORE PLEASE

 

Rally ends @ 12 noon.

Directions:- On A31, from East or West, exit at Picket Post,(East of Ringwood, with filling stations on both sides of the road) via slip road sign posted Burley. Drive through open forest for approx. 2.4 miles to BURLEY. Site is on Left, at EDCC signs, through wide entrance in to Park.
