Come and join us at this relaxing rally located close to the famous Cheddar Gorge attractions and Cheddar village.
This campsite has level mown pitches, plus toilets, showers and a modern washing up area. Our 2024 rally will be held in an improved location which offers a hard standing entrance/exit and is closer to the main site facilities. The new rally field has better drainage and an increased number of EHUs from 4 to 10.
It also has an on-site food shack open on Friday & Saturday evenings and Saturday & Sunday mornings. There is a shop in reception where you will find a range of drinks and snacks
Cheddar village has a good range of local shops and 2 supermarkets. This is a dog friendly site with a wide range of countryside dog walks, plus beautiful views across the Cheddar valley. Public transport to the wonderful cathedral city of Wells and the seaside town of Weston Super Mare is available in Cheddar village which is just a 15- 20 minute walk from the site. E bike hire is also available in Cheddar Village.
There are a wide range of restaurants and cafes in both Cheddar village and Cheddar Gorge, plus you can sample the famous Cheddar ales in the Cheddar artisan brewery which is a 5 minute walk from the site. For those of you looking for a bargain the massive Cheddar Car Boot & Market takes place every Sunday and is just a short stroll from the site.

Route:
From Dorset head NorthWest to pick up the M5 and exit the Motorway at junction 22. Follow the A38 signs towards Weston Super Mare and then the signs for Bristol Airport. At Cross turn right to join the A371 heading for Cheddar/Wells. Staying on the A371, ignore the signs for the Gorge on the left and follow the road to the right and continue onto Cheddar Village and through the centre of the village. You will pass Tesco Extra on your right and the Bath Arms pub on your left. Continue on this road passing St Andrews Church followed by Cheddar Football Club on your right. After a further 250 yards, take a right turn ( by the Woodpecker Services sign ) off the A371 into Labourham Way and then an immediate left following the EDCC signs into the entrance lane to Petruth Paddocks. Slow to walking pace and follow the EDCC signs to the rally field.
